Sasa Trifunovic, journalist
Dear colleagues,
the Newsletter published the response of Miroslav Radulovic to my article about his manner of writing, his insulting attacks on colleagues and his vulgar words aimed at some of the citizens of Bor.
I had expected his reaction, but I had not expected that you would publish all his lies about me which were written in a manner that was typical of him and which prompted the Independent Journalists' Association of Serbia (NUNS) to discuss his conduct.
Have you really believed his lies about my professional career – that I have never worked as a journalist and that I am an operator of steam boilers in the faculty building?! Is it possible that you have believed such nonsense?
I have no intention of explaining myself and responding to his rubbish, which is typical of the personal character of poor Radulovic, but I need to offer my response because of your willingness to publish Radulovic's letter and all his disinformations.
I emphasize that I have worked as a journalist in the newspaper Glas Javnosti as well as Frankfurt News, and I was also the editor of Radio Bor. I was the editor of Radio Bor at the time when Radulovic, a long-time mouthpiece of DSS, was employed at the station. He never showed up at his workplace because he could not adapt to journalistic work – which is unsurprising, since he is incapable of writing a single news item with all appropriate elements.
By the way, I work as a librarian at the Faculty of Bor. The boilers that he mentioned are probably a part of his childhood frustrations, since he grew up not far from them.
My article about his manner of writing contains only facts and does not mention his professional career. I am surprised that your Newsletter would allow insulting of colleagues, which is the reason behind the NUNS' request that the Court of Honour discuss Radulovic's behavior.
In his article, Radulovic insulted my career (I have been a correspondent of Beta news agency from eight cities in Borski and Zajecarski districts since the agency's inception) and 15 years of investigative journalism.
If you believe that this is not necessary, I want to inform you that I will not cooperate with you anymore because the criteria you apply and your willingness to allow someone to smear his colleagues using lies are not compatible with my vision of journalism.
