"Okruzenje" ("The Environment"), a new programme broadcast in five countries, proved after two airings that it had brought something new, mostly in the areas of good concept and preparation, without any improvisations. The programme is a civil society project realized jointly by two non-governmental organizations: the European Fund for the Balkans and the Center for Reconciliation and Democratization in South East Europe. It is being broadcast in Serbia, Croatia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Macedonia. Guests who appear in the programme also come from these five countries. The European Fund for the Balkans and the Center for Reconciliation intend to ask money for new episodes from the European Commission in Brussels after the series consisting of five episodes is completed. Therefore, the first series, although it has five episodes, constitutes a kind of a pilot project.
