The 6th International Youth Media SummitThe 6th International Youth Media Summit under the title "The Medium Is the Message! Let's Shape the Future Together!" will be opened on August 2 at 20.00 in the Cultural Centre Rex in Belgrade and take place until August 10. The Summit is an international event intended for young people who are prepared to use the media as a means of social change, says the announcement issued by the organizer. The main topics of the Summit are the following: health, ecology, poverty, youth, violence, women's rights and discrimination.

(Kurir, NUNS, 26.07.2011)DigitalizationA trial network for broadcasting of digital TV signal in Serbia will be launched before the end of 2011, announced the Ministry of Culture, Informing and Information Society. There is a possibility of broadcasting the trial digital signal on a specific territory, which is currently being analyzed. The Ministry said that perhaps the strategy and the deadline for transition, as specified by the Strategy, would be changed.
